Our first official CACHE-DASH was born of a serious case of cabin fever. It was mid March 2011. With months of winter weather behind us and the wildflower season months in the future, the notion of caching in new territory beckoned with a tantalizing lure bordering on genius. Or desperation? Any excuse for a road trip is fodder for a quick departure by us Dixon's. A review of maps, mileage, and money pointed us in the direction of Wyoming and Nebraska.

The jaunt was a dash in the literal sense. We departed early in the am and returned home in the late pm all on the same day! We enjoyed ourselves completely and wanted for nothing more than ... m.o.r.e!

CACHE-DASH #2 was not long in taking shape. And that is another story for another day :)
