CACHE-DASH #3
October 2011. Ahhhhh. Sweet vacation time IS HERE. Time is limited. So is our money. What do we do with ourselves? A CACHE-DASH, the third in our 2011 series. geo.sweetie (dubbed so by her better half) and Cache-machine are ready to hit the road! BONUS... although this trip has been planned far ahead, it happens to come just when the first winter snow has fallen here at home. We are headed out of the snow and into clear territory. WOOT! Go here if you don't know what caching is: http://www.geocaching.com/default.aspx
This trip picks up 3 new states, some famous places we always wanted to visit, plenty of sights to tickle our fancy, and 33 new geocaches. See a short video clip of a cool Red Fox and his antics that we watched off the roadside in Montana: http://youtu.be/Kz71Ul_PqoI.
What a good time! The car ran like a top, so did our various pieces of equipment such as cameras and GPS units. Our only issue was having to come home to go back to work. Some of us Dixon's like our jobs more than others, but even so, for both of us, D.A.R.N.
We can't wait for our next CACHE-DASH. Oh the joy of planning!

At our longest trek seeking cache, this track map was challenging to put together. Fun to see, in print, just how much territory we covered. Total miles: 1249.
