Our desire to visit the zoo here in our new home state has been keen for close to a year. With a home to remodel, the great outdoors to explore, and jobs to work, it took over a year to get 'er done. After an article was published in March of 2009 noting that the Denver Zoo is ranked in the United States top ten list, we were more eager than ever. We were not disappointed!!! The exotic bird population was particularly fine. We saw many fun animals and well done habitats. The organization of the grounds was great too.
