The formations in this area of Colorado are amazing. We visited this enchanting place in February of 2008 during a visit to determine if we wanted to move to Colorado. We DID move to the state and are in love with the many wonders of nature that we have found here. The land that the formations stand upon was privately owned. The descendants of the original owner magnanimously donated the land for public enjoyment and appreciation of our state. We most certainly do. For more information on the park go here:
