Washington Park Arboretum
Ou la la'....the acclaimed Washington Park Arboretum has been on our 'must do' list for quite some time. Today we meandered through a small section of the park which consists of 230 acres of botanicals. The areas we visited today were filled with blooming trees and bushes, singing birds, scampering squirrels, and gorgeous spring flowers. There are big plans in the works for the arboretum, and this is true in our lives as well. We are soon to relocate to Colorado. One additional visit to the water areas of the park before our move will be the last time we get to enjoy this wonderful community area. For those who live in Washington state, spending time at this park is most highly recommended.
