Watergarden Walk - Sept 2006 through April 2008
Charming and useful, the Waterworks Gardens in our little neighborhood, Tukwila Washington, made for a nice outing to work the kinks out of our lazy bodies and clear our apartment clouded minds. The ponds look, well, not especially attractive, but boy are they hard at work. With the introduction of bacteria these experimental waters are 'green stations' providing a natural source of water treatment that could be applied to much larger jobs. The surroundings for the ponds has been done up very nicely by the city. This is one use of public money we didn't begrudge quite pointedly as we sometimes do.
