Edmonds Underwater Park - March 2012
Back in the water after 4 years!! After so much time and a very different life-style living in Colorado, Darice was worried about her fitness for diving but excited to again explore the world under water. Gear function - check! Camera operation - check! Stamina and skills status - check!
First up was refresher diving with son Eric in Tacoma. Went well in spite of poor weather and a emerging cold. No pics. Too busy with basics.
Some days later we were back to the sound, with Eric's dive buddy Elliott in tow, to explore Edmonds Underwater Park. Wonderful place to dive with the only frustration being most dive pics left on the camera accidentally back in Portland. Hope to upload the full set soon.
What a relief to find good physical tolerance and stamina for diving for Darice - pushing the big 60 - but captivated by the brine as ever. With dive gear now re-located back in Portland Oregon, here's to more regular diving in our future!!
