For the love of wandering
Golden Canyon and Gower Gulch Loop via Zabriskie Point
This was our longest hike in Death Valley National Park. 5.8 glowing miles and 1092' of elevation gain was, for us, a nice stretch of the legs, making this not a difficult hike but a most rewarding one.
The sky was a brilliant blue with formations to challenge even those in Bryce Canyon National Park for beauty, if not vista. It was satisfying also to complete our exploration of Golden Canyon.
We're fans of Death Valley - during the more temperate time of year!
