Mosaic Canyon Trail - Death Valley National Park
It actually does rain in the desert! As proven by the hiker with an umbrella deployed, as well as the random water drops on our camera lens.
This was an out and back hike with beautiful golden walls make vibrant by the rain. We almost didn't come out because of the rain. But not for fear of getting wet. There were flash floods to beware! But at the end of the day (or beginning of it) the rain didn't seem heavy enough to flood. We were paid back for our effort by the colored up walls and rocks to delight our eyes.
Grateful for another great Death Valley National Park hike!
