Dinosaur Ridge Trail - Morrison Colorado
Whaddya know ... a new place to hike just when we are wanting to get off our backsides and out for some exercise. Mark thought of this trail and very nice it is. Thanks to smart phones with geocaching apps (not to mention cell service) we discovered to our delight that quite a few geocaches had been placed along the trail.
This hike would be rated easy in our book. Known as a soft peak, it consists of less than 300 feet of elevation gain but still provides a good mix of exercise, along with pretty views.
The total hike came in today at almost 4 miles round trip, with more to complete next time. Nice sights, and the fun geo's we still need to find, make this a come back destination.
