For the love of wandering
Ouzel Falls - October 31, 2010
Two short weeks after hiking to Bierstadt Lake in the RMNP we felt the wild call of the park again. What a different look and feel was this hike from that! Light snow and ice baby, was the name of the game. We loved it. At 5.4 miles round trip and 950' elevation gain, the Ouzel choice was also appealing for the good stretch of the leg for us. We had never entered the park through the Wild Basin access before. The new sights were enjoyable, not to mention far fewer people around. Always a plus for us, nothing personal :)
More playing with HDR and filtering. Enjoy the photos and see if Ouzel Falls in the fall is somewhere you'd like to be.
