A short hike with the trail edging along ... you guessed it ... segments of bluffs. Much of the Bluffs Trail looked down on Las Vegas Creek meandering it's way through a wide swath of desert floor. The appealing green of trees and bushes helped break up the browns, red, and creams of most of the view.

Beginning and ending at the Las Vegas Bay campground, this was an easy hike at about 2.75 miles. Adding in a stroll through the campground gave us an even 3 mile stretch of the legs, with not too much sweat to make our sunblock run into our eyes.
