Continuing our 2022 hike exploration of Mt. Hood, we set out in the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness area of the mountain. Years back, the "She of the We" did a solo hike here from Tom, Dick and Harry to Mirror Lake. This time "We" hiked Mirror Lake to Tom.

Reaching Tom this particular day felt like a lot! She was ready to be done, who knows why, but we felt rewarded by the hike just the same. The views up on Tom were gorgeous. We ate a nice lunch, enjoyed the scenery, and headed back the way we came.

Best guess on distance was around 4 miles and unknown elevation gain.

It's a great feeling of freedom when hiking to always have the option of doing as much (or little) as one chooses! We enjoyed that freedom this hike.
