Rialto Beach to Hole in the Wall
Ah yes, the famous beaches of Olympic National Park should not be missed. So we didn't! At least two of them that is.
Falling on the last day of our mini-vacation, this was an easy 3 mile hike from Rialto Beach to the iconic Hole in the Wall formation of the Olympic National Park. We reached the formation before incoming tides engulfed it, a happy - not planned - happening! Mother Luck remained with us once more.
The walk was beautiful, with moderate weather. Bonus features were marine invertebrates and plants in the tidepools at Hole in the Wall, to enjoy at the 1.5 mile mark.
Nice way to bid farewell to the park and head for home. Gosh, we're glad we came here.
